Brief History of KLA

KINGDOM LIFE ASSEMBLY (KLA) is one of the parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), a worldwide church organisation established since 1952 with a mandate to take the gospel of salvation and peace to the entire world in line with the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Church is a Bible believing body of Christ, where the engrafted, unalloyed and undiluted Word of God is taught and preached.

Our missionary approach and teachings emphasize holiness and righteous living as the key to a fulfilled life here and in eternity. Our foundation is prayer and teaching the full counsel of God. Through this, people are helped to discover and fulfil the plans and purposes of God for their lives, developing these to their maximum potentials, to the glory of God.

The General Overseer of RCCG is Pastor E.A. Adeboye. The Church is one of the fastest growing churches with parishes across over 100 countries of the world and membership over three million people of all races and cultures. The Church hosts the largest all night prayer meeting in Europe – Festival of Life.

Kingdom Life Assembly was established in Doncaster in 2003 and has given birth to new parishes in Brighton, Doncaster, Reading, and York. We are steadily growing and joining forces with our sister parishes in the UK to establish missions in every part of the world.

LEADERSHIP

Our Pastoral and Ministerial team is made up of individuals with gifts to function as Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers; we aim at encouraging Believers to develop our God given gifts to achieve the following: equipping of the saints, work of the ministry & edifying of the Body of Christ.

Pastor (Dr) Adebisi Akinde: Senior Pastor

He is the Senior Pastor of the Kingdom Life Assembly, Doncaster. A prolific writer with increasing passion to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to nations and teach the full gospel of the Word of God. He holds PhD in Religious Education and taught in UK institutions for some years before taking up the call.

Pastor Florence Akinde: Parish Pastor

She loves the Lord and people dearly, and she is very passionate for evangelism, outreach and church planting. She is into counselling, intercession and holding women Conferences. She loves to network and share ideas with others. She believes firmly that as God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are achievers, so is she achiever. She is the Director of Omega Business Services in London and Doncaster.
